About prjktMAYHEM
prjktMAYHEM is the brainchild of Kenji Yuyama. It started out in 2016 as a Wordpress blog about Kenji's personal cars (Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII; Nissan 240SX RHS13) as well as a resource guide on chiefly the Nissan S series ECUs and pin-outs. As the OEM resources for replacement parts started drying up these past few years, prjktMAYHEM morphed into a parts provider of new old stock, as well as top quality used parts obtained from the Japanese market, as well as replicating back shelf items (Nissan S series interior louvers). The latest iteration of prjktMAYHEM is replicating the OE tail light lenses of the Nissan S and R series, as well as venturing into the Toyota, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Honda segments, and casting them in crystal clear tail light lens offerings. Not to be pigeonholed into just the Japanese domestic series of makes/models, prjktMAYHEM is also doing commission bespoke works for American domestic classic muscle cars, such as the 1989-1993 Ford Mustang tail lights. The move to offer tail light lens services to not just the Nissan S and R series allows prjktMAYHEM to expand, grow, and stay relevant in the lens-making industry. While catering to private individuals has always been the source of product introduction, the emphasis has shifted to also engage with light builders and artists who have been commissioned to build tail lights for their customers using prjktMAYHEM lenses.
